OVG to build new accommodation for Oranjewoud

Oranjewoud and OVG Projectontwikkeling have signed an agreement to build a new office in Oosterhout. This relates to a building comprising approx. 8,000 m2. Architects Paul de Ruiter will be designing the extremely sustainable building in accordance with ‘new world of work’ principles.

Allianz acquires office building “Triton” in Frankfurt from IVG/OVG

Allianz Real Estate Germany has acquired the office building “Triton” in Frankfurt from OVG Real Estate who acted on behalf of IVG Institutional Funds. The property is located in Frankfurt’s Westend and will be redeveloped over the next 2 years to meet the green building standard. The investment volume is ca. € 200 million.

iSOFT moves to OVG’s SiriusBuilding in Leiden

At the end of this year iSOFT Nederland will be moving to the SiriusBuilding on the Mendelweg in the Bio Science Park in Leiden. The 10,000 m2 SiriusBuilding is a property development from OVG. The project comprises two office buildings each named after the whitest stars in our universe: Sirius A and Sirius B.

The Maastoren nominated for prestigious FGH Real Estate Award

For the Maastoren, OVG Real Estate has been nominated for the FGH Real Estate Award 2010. A jury of experts led by Mayor Wolfsen of Utrecht has selected three projects. In addition to the Maastoren in Rotterdam, the Binnenhof in Noordwijk and Mahler 4 in Amsterdam have also been nominated. “The Maastoren is currently the tallest building in The Netherlands on a reclaimed location in the River Maas and has all the qualities to achieve monument status in the future” according to the expert jury.

OVG is awarded the first ever BREEAM-NL ‘Excellent’ certificate in The Netherlands

The Dutch Green Building Council has awarded the first ever BREEAM-NL New Building design certificate with a score of excellent to OVG Projectontwikkeling for the development of the new offices for the Dutch Heart Foundation (De Nederlandse Hartstichting). The building, comprising more than 5,800 m2, has an extremely sustainable design based on the principles of the new Dutch evaluation method of BREEAM. The building includes thermal exchange storage, moss sedum roof and atrium, water-saving measures for the toilets and smart systems with occupancy detection and daylight control. Mr. Jaap Gilles of the Dutch Green Building Council (DGBC) presented the certificate at the PROVADA on June 8th 2010 to Vincent Steijn (Development Manager OVG) and Marlon Huysmans (Director Sustainability OVG).
