Triton, Frankfurt
At one of the top locations in Frankfurt, on the Bockenheimer Landstrasse stands the striking Triton building. The current building is characterized by its closed nature and outdated image. The Bockenheimer Landstrasse is part of the most attractive area of Frankfurt: the West End. This location features excellent accessibility, luxurious and park-like surroundings and is within walking distance of the Alte Oper, the heart of Frankfurt.
The new Triton will be an extremely modern office building and will be launching a new sustainability standard for redevelopment projects. By changing the structure of the building OVG will create clear sightlines and the occupants will feel they are working in a light and modern building. This feeling will be reinforced by the ceiling-high windows and the high-quality exterior sunblinds, ensuring optimum daylight access, while keeping the heat load outside the building. The design also includes other sustainable aspects which lead to receiving a Gold precertificate from the DGNB (the leading German sustainable building institute). In addition the adaptations will enable more modern office concepts to be provided, such as open plan offices.
IVG Institutional Funds has commissioned OVG Real Estate to carry out this redevelopment. OVG also does the Asset Management for this building, as well as for the Pollux building, also located in Frankfurt.
