About OVG
When founder & CEO Coen van Oostrom started OVG at the age of 27 a lack of financial means forced him to create his own chances. It is his energy and ambition that has thus created the OVG method. Since then everyone joining OVG has shared the same enthusiasm and passion for our profession. This is what makes OVG so enterprising.
Sustainability
For us sustainability means managing the available resources as cleverly as possible in order to provide people with buildings that are not only beautiful but affordable and environmentally responsible as well. Having our own Sustainability Center enables us to continuously stay ahead of the market. Because finding the best green innovations for our clients is what we are all about.

Jeppe de Boer new Executive Chairman of OVG Nederland

OVG Real Estate is announcing today that as of May 1st Jeppe de Boer is appointed Executive Chairman of OVG Nederland. De Boer is taking the role over from Coen van Oostrom, CEO and founder of OVG Real Estate. The exchange of roles will enable Van Oostrom to concentrate more on the strategic development of OVG internationally.

OVG hands over Danone Innovation Centre

OVG Real Estate handed over the new Danone Innovation Centre today. The project, comprising around 20,000 m2, has been designed by Cepezed and is located in the Utrecht Science Park. The Danone Innovation Centre will be the new, international research center for baby and medical nutrition, for brands such as Nutricia. Investor Hannover Leasing had acquired the property from OVG in June 2011.

Schneider Electric and OVG Real Estate are awarded the highest BREAAM-NL Excellent score

Early collaboration in projects essential for final result
Schneider Electric and OVG Real Estate were awarded BREEAM-NL Excellent certification on May 22nd. At the same time Schneider Electric was given an ISO 50001 certificate. This endorses the company's leading position in the field of energy management in the Netherlands and OVG's position as sustainable developer. The building is provided with numerous technical innovations, most of which have been developed by Schneider Electric themselves.

OVG completes Oranjewoud
OVG Real Estate handed over the new offices for Oranjewoud end of April. The building of 7,820 m2 with 280 parking spaces is located on the Beneluxweg in Oosterhout. Once occupied by Oranjewoud, the building will be certified BREEAM-NL Very Good. The office has been designed by Paul de Ruiter architects. Oranjewoud has entered into a 10-year lease to use the building.

OVG Real Estate makes a profit in 2012

OVG closed 2012, a year in which the crisis truly made its presence felt, with a profit. Property developer OVG, one of the Netherland's largest real estate developers, presents its annual returns today and shows a net profit of € 1.7 million on a turnover of € 135 million. According to OVG this demonstrates more than ever the value of its culture of entrepreneurship and innovation, which has enabled it to capitalize on changes in the economy in good time.

The event Earth Hour by WWF that took place last Saturday at the Rotterdam was a great success. A substantial number of buildings in Rotterdam turned off the lights at 20:30.

WWF Earth Hour with Andre Kuipers and Giel Beelen to be staged on De Rotterdam
On Saturday March 23rd starting at 8.30 pm, Radio presentor Giel Beelen and André Kuipers, ambassador for the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), are organizing an exclusive Rooftop Concert during Earth Hour, the annual event when the world helps our planet by swtiching off the lights for an hour. During the concert well-known singer-songwriters will perform acoustically on the top floor of 'De Rotterdam'.
